Website Identity (PI)
This PI belongs to the Municipality of Piraeus, with its headquarters at the City Hall of Piraeus, Region of Attica, Greece.
The entity complies with the national and European regulatory framework regarding the protection of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 GDPR of the EU).
Terms of Use
The use of this PI is subject to the terms and conditions set out below. The use of the PI is a presumption that the visitor-user has studied, understood and accepted all the terms of use of the PI. In case the visitor-user does not agree with the terms of use herein, he/she must not use the services and content of the PI.
These terms of use may be revised and updated at any time and without notice. Please check the terms of use of the PI periodically as your continued use of the PI implies your acceptance of these changes.
Intellectual Property Rights (Copyright)
All content of the IP, except for the explicitly mentioned exceptions (third party copyright), which - indicatively - includes texts, graphics, images, pictures, photographs, drawings, videos, sounds, etc. (hereinafter referred to as content) constitute intellectual property, registered trademarks and service marks of the owner of this PI and, where applicable, of the Greek State and are protected by applicable national, Community and international law.
The Municipality retains all intellectual property rights of use and ownership titles in respect of the Content, all copies made thereunder, as well as all copyright and other proprietary rights relating thereto.
The content of the PI is made available to its visitors/users for their personal use. The content is subject to change without notice at the discretion of the PI administrator. After acceptance of the terms of use, non-commercial use and reproduction, in whole or in part, is permitted, provided that the reproduced product is freely available thereafter via the Internet or other appropriate means and is accompanied by a clear and distinct reference to its source of origin. Any other use requires the express written permission of the owner or copyright holder.
Other products or services mentioned on the web pages of this PI and bearing the trademarks of their respective organisations, companies, partner organisations, associations or publications are their intellectual and industrial property and therefore these organisations are responsible for them.

Personal Data Protection
The management and protection of the personal data of the visitor/user of the PI is subject to the terms of this notice as well as to the provisions of national, Community and international law on the protection of individuals with regard to the management of personal data, as applicable.
Any possible future relevant regulation will be the subject of this notice. In any case, the administrator reserves the right to change the terms of personal data protection in accordance with the relevant legal framework in force at the time.
Accordingly, these privacy terms may be revised and updated at any time and without notice. Users of the PI are advised to check these terms periodically for any changes, as continued use of the PI implies acceptance of all possible modifications thereto.
The administrator of the PI collects personal information from its visitors/users only when they voluntarily provide it themselves. Personal information is information that can be used to identify or contact an individual and other information relating to that individual.
The administrator of the PI will not make available for sale or otherwise transfer or disclose personal information of visitors/users of the PI to third parties not related to him/her (the administrator of the PI), without the consent of the visitor/user, except for the application of relevant legal dictates and to the competent authorities only.
The administrator may process part or all of the data sent by visitors/users for statistical purposes and for the improvement of the services - information provided.
The visitor/user may contact the administrator of the PI in order to cross-check the existence of his/her personal record, its correction, change or deletion.
This PI includes links to other websites which are under the responsibility of third parties (natural or legal persons). Under no circumstances is the administrator of the PI responsible for the terms of protection of personal data which these websites follow.
What rights do you have to your data?
If you have created an account with this PI or left comments, you can request to receive an extracted record of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete the personal data we hold about you. This does not include data that we are required to keep for administrative, legal or security reasons. Use of interactive areas
The PI administrator has the possibility to provide contact forms, bulletin boards and other interactive areas to the PI. Use of any of the interactive areas implies that the visitor/user is solely responsible for the communication he/she makes and for the consequences of publishing that communication.
The visitor/user accepts and undertakes in this respect not to take the following actions:
- use the interaction area for any purpose in violation of applicable law,
- publishing material that infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties or the privacy or disclosure rights of third parties,
- publishing material that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, abusive or material that causes dissatisfaction to third parties (natural or legal persons), as determined by the administrator of the PI, at his/her discretion,
- posting material that contains "viruses", "malicious" code that may damage or destroy the files or programs of the administrator of the PI or its users,
- publishing advertisements or other commercial material,
- misrepresentation of his/her identity,
- any other action that restricts or inhibits any other person from using the interaction areas and the PI in general, or any action that, in the opinion of the PI administrator, exposes him or any of his users to legal liability or harm.
Cookies
We use small text files called cookies which are necessary to organise and improve the user experience you receive from the PI. These files may uniquely identify you each time you visit our website. You can easily delete them from your browser by following the instructions of each manufacturer. We display a special warning at the bottom of the page to each new visitor that we use cookies.
Traffic analysis services
We use PI traffic analysis services, which record and store data about your visits in accordance with their respective privacy policies that they publish. Please ask us which services we use in each case so that you can contact them for more information. We do not use these services to uniquely identify you, but only to have a display of general data about the degree and rate of visits of all visitors to our website.
Limitation of liability of the Municipality - Disclaimer
The content of the PI is provided "as is" and the Municipality makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, merchantability, non-infringement or fitness for any use, application or purpose of such content.
The Municipality under no circumstances, including negligence, shall be liable for any form of damage suffered by the visitor/user of the pages, services, options and contents of the PI which he/she undertakes on his/her own initiative and with knowledge of these terms and conditions. Furthermore, the City does not guarantee that the pages, services, options and contents will be provided without interruption, without errors, that errors will be corrected or that answers will be given to all questions posed to it. Similarly, the Municipality does not warrant that the PI or any other related website or the servers through which the content is made available to visitors/users will be provided free of "viruses" or other harmful components. The cost of any corrections or servicing is borne by the visitor/user and in no case by the Municipality.
Use of links to third party websites (links)
The PI provides access to third party websites through appropriate links. These links have been placed exclusively for the convenience of the visitors/users of the PI, while the websites to which they refer are subject to the respective terms of use of these websites. The placement of the links does not constitute an indication of approval or acceptance of the content of the respective websites by the administrator of the PI, who is not responsible for their content or for the privacy practices or the accuracy of the materials contained therein. If the visitor/user of the PI decides to use, through its links, any of the third party websites, he/she accepts that he/she does so at his/her own risk.
Applicable law and other terms
The above terms and conditions of use of the IP, as well as any modification, change or alteration thereof, are governed and supplemented by national law, Community law and the relevant international treaties. Any provision of the above terms found to be contrary to the above legal framework or rendered invalid shall automatically cease to be in force and shall be removed from these terms, without in any way affecting the validity of the other terms. The present constitutes the entire agreement between the administrator of the PI and the visitor/user of its pages and services and is binding only on them. No modification of these terms will be taken into account and will not form part of this agreement unless it is expressed in writing and incorporated herein.
It is hereby expressly agreed that the visitor/user of the PI hereby consents that any claims, disputes or other controversies relating to or arising out of the application of these terms and the general use of the PI by him/her, if not amicably resolved, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts.
